1. FOOD:4Health with Wholesome Grains Puppy Lamb Formula for Dogs.
Can be purchased at Tractor supply or ordered online from Chewy.
2. Lamb Training Treats
•We recommend using a training treat that is similar in protein as the food.
3. Teething treats, Chew Treats (any flavor)
•Your puppy will be teething when they come home and will need things to chew on. We love these Yak Chews, stuffed shin bones, and bully type treats. ALWAYS supervise when giving treats.
4.Adjustable Raised Feeder/Neater Feeder
•Studies show, it’s better for your puppy to not lean over to the ground when they eat. A raised feeder aids in digestion. With an adjustable raised feeder, you can adjust the height as your puppy grows. These also contain the mess as your dog eats, they are really a fantastic system. We currently have 7 Neater Feeders in our home and cannot live without them!
5. Door Potty Bells, Clickers and Treats Bags
•These things are magic and they really work. Give your puppy a week or two and they will ring the bell when they have to go outside to potty. I can swear by these we trained our dogs on these!
6."Busy"Toys
•These are a great options for when you have to leave your puppy in their crate & to keep them occupied. Fill with cheese or peanut butter , fruit, yogurt, freeze it , and It will keep your puppy occupied for hours.
7.Interactive Toys
•Doodles are known for being so smart and brain exercises are the next best thing to physical exercise for this breed! We love these options to get your puppy thinking!
8.Puppy Shampoos, Smell Goods
•We love this shampoo and conditioner! It is gentle & mild, leaves your puppies coat feeling wonderfully soft & it has a great, fresh scent, that’s not too overpowering.
9.Slicker Brush
•This is our favorite type of brush. A slicker brush gets all the way down through your doodles double coat. Yes , doodles have a double coat and you need to make sure you get the correct brush to get all the way to it. If you do not have the right brush you will only be brushing the topcoat of your doodle and their second coat will become very matted and you won’t even know it....and when you go in for a groom your doodle will come home looking like a different dog because they have shave off their coat due to mats and knots, and start over.
10.Double door Medium/Large Crate with Divider and crate cover (Typically Crate cover and crates are purchase separately)
• Crate size up to you, options will be Medium/36 or Large/42.
Medium(36) will fit comfortably, but you might like the height of a larger crate(42).Large is typically 5 inches or so taller than a medium. So if you want to buy a medium or large crate now and let your puppy grow into it, make sure you get a crate with a divider so you can give your puppy only a small amount of room for potty training purposes. Which ever size you decide to get make sure you get the divider,And we really like having double doors. That’s a door in the front and a door on the side. That way you can set your crate up anywhere you want and not have to worry about making sure the door is always accessible.
11. Harness/Leash
•A harness will offer you more control over your puppy, it also stops your puppy from pulling on the leash and you can avoid neck and trachea injuries that can happen with collars. Harness is typically used for primarily walking, but some leave it on in place of a collar. NO PULL and ADJUSTABLE are keywords to look for when choosing a harness. Your puppy will need an XSMALL for the first few weeks. Do to purchase anything larger or they won't be able to use it.
12. Collar
-In case you’re puppy becomes lost, with your information! We love "personalized"collars, all your info can be printed directly on the collar and no need for a dangling tag! Plan on a XS-S.
13 . Small nose /beard trimmer…grab 2 (one for face/eyes,one for fluffy butt)…This is excellent for mini sanitary grooms (fluffy butts are poop catchers 🙈) and keeping the hair out of the eyes! You will need to do this frequently to keep your puppy used to it, if you don't your puppy will end up not holding still. We suggest at least once a week touch ups!
14.The Donut bed!
-So many people ask about crate pads/beds, and honestly I’m not a huge of them while potty training. What we do recommend though is bed outside of the crate for when your puppy is having family time/free time outside of the crate. This Donut bed is a tried & true favorite! Size up if you want your puppy to enjoy it longer..puppies grow fast!
15.Elevated petted/ Cooling cot
-Another tried and true favorite! Easy to clean and move around, we love the cot!
16.Staying healthy
-Probiotics are a staple for every pet owner. Probiotics help balance intestinal bacteria to support a healthy immune system and reduce the incidence of diarrhea, constipation and infections in the digestive tract and urinary tract,We recommend a scoop a week for preventive measures!
